More blood tests

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and just been told I have to go in for extra blood tests asap due to the quality of my scan photo. They also mentioned that it was the bloods for my downs test that something flagged up, and they need to double check, but my results are low risk. The midwife said there is absolutely nothing wrong and nothing to worry about but I cant help but wonder. Should I be worried?

hi.

you might have been too far into pregnancy for the combined test to be accurate.

info about screening for Down's, Edwards' and Patau's syndromes you can find here

nhs.uk/Conditions/pregnancy...

hope everything turns out fine.

I think you just need to ask the midwife for clarification as to why they are repeating them. What was flagged up? What blood tests need repeating? Doesn't sound very clear
