Hospital Bag

Hi, I'm nearly at 32 weeks and starting to think about my hospital bag, the lists online seem huge and I feel like I wouldn't end up using half of the stuff!

What did you pack? Is there anything you didn't pack but wish you had?

Thanks, Laura

I'm 37 weeks got the biggest bag ever but it's cause I have a dressing gown slippers, change of clothes pj's underwear, toiletries and then in a separate bag baby stuff if got her 3 outfits and also sorts just in case were in for longer than a day chances are half of stuff won't get used but I'd rather have it and not need it lol

I'm starting to pack my bag but have decided to do 2, one for labour + possible over night and then a second to be left st home (or in car) to be brought in for me if I have to stay for longer.

There's no weight or size limit so I'd say pack what you feel comfortable with. If you want everything but kitchen sink then take it.

Depending on how far you are from hospital would someone be able to bring in extras that you've left.

It's best to pack too much than not enough. I've had my bag packed since 32 weeks and I'm now due to give birth any day now. Pack for you what you use and need regularly and for the baby follow those online lists and then more. I have unpacked and packed my hospital bag at least 3 times to be sure. If you have a birthing partner make sure they have a change of clothes as you never know what time the special day will be. Oh yeah and don't forget your phone charger and baby pack. Have them on you where ever and when ever you go out. Good luck. 🙂
