I'm 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I started with spotting and then yesterday I started bleeding and passing small clots. Went to the out of hours who have booked me in for a scan on Monday morning. Started with bad cramps today. Bleeding has eased off. Can't help but fear the worst :-( Anyone else been through the same thing.

Thank you so much for the replies. It's reassuring to know that someone else has gone through the same thing. You are right, I do need to try and think positive. It's my first pregnancy and I guess it's the fear of the unknown that's the hard bit. Thank you for the good luck, I will let you know how Monday goes.

It doesn't get any easier as the weeks go by but seeing the scan really helps. Everyone says it's normal but it doesn't make it better. Yes let us know and try and relax xx

Try not to worry it sounds like you have a hematoma which is a small clot that is by the sac sometimes the body absorbs this small bleed other times you bleed for a few weeks this is very common

Thank you so much for the reply. Some more reassuring words. Tomorrow can't come round quick enough. I go through feeling positive to negative. Feeling really bloated today and I passed another clot but a smaller one this time. Seems to be more blood when I wipe myself, a pad doesn't have much blood on it :-(

Not good news, I've had a miscarriage. Had a blood test to check if anything else needs to come away so just waiting on those to see if I have to go back in in 48 hours :-(

Sorry to hear that, I've had a heavy bleed today called the doctor and she suspects a miscarriage too. I'm 5 weeks and 5 days with being so early there isn't really anything she can do so she just said to rest and take it easy for a couple of days and take a pregnancy test on wednesday, if it still says positive then to call her and i will get booked in for an early scan but usually they dont do them until 7 weeks as you cant see anything. My partner is away at the moment aswell so not really sure what to do with myself, should i call and tell him whats going on or wait till wednesday for it to be confirmed as such?
