Yes, the pill can affect your fertility afterwards. Not sure for how long but your cycles can take time to readjust.
Some people are lucky, but also, 4-5 months is no time at all! 2 years is not uncommon, sadly! Just keep trying, keep a track of when you ovulate and stay positive. X
Yeah the pill can take a while to get out of your system. Would def recommend ovulation kits, Clear Blue do a range that I used with my baby boy (who's just turned 1 year old) and I'm due again in 2 weeks! Used these both times and say they were a major benefit, we conceived in month 2 the first time and month 3 the second time. Means you don't need to guess when ur ovulating and your partner can be saving up his swimmers so the strongest and ready when the egg is! Best of luck xxx
After coming off combined pill it took about 18months for my cycles to become regular, I don't know if I was ovulating prior to this as I wasn't actually trying to conceive at the time. We did fall pregnant first month trying for our first so although took a while for my body to settle down it didn't seem to affect my fertility.
