If you are working tell your line manager that you are pregnant through an email,never tell them over the office.This happened to me I told my manager that I was pregnant over the phone when I was 4 weeks and requested for a risk assessment but he did do any so when I was 8weeks I reminded him again over the phone thinking he is gonna do one my the response was shocking he said oh sorry I forgot I will do one then the following week I suffered miscarriage.Then I made a complaint to the company but he said he doesn't remember me calling for the second time,he only remembers me calling first time only.
