Hi I started getting light bleeding yesterday morning which was bright red and I started getting sharp, stabbing pains in my lower abdomen and it was so bad I had to go to a and e and they took blood tests and everything's normal and they did a full examination but had to keep me in over night so I could have an ultrasound scan and a transvaginal scan but after all this the scan revealed that I no longer have cysts on my ovaries but they don't know what caused the sharp stabbing pains which were so severe but they said my uterus was out of shape a touch but that's normal when you bleed could it be possible I don't have pcos anymore and will it be easier for me to get pregnant
I have pcos but cysts asre no longer ... - Pregnancy and Par...
I have pcos but cysts asre no longer there.
Years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS, then I didn't have it, then I did have it, then I didn't have it...all depended on gynea at time of checking...so ended up taking with a pinch of salt...in end, not one of them picked up on fact I have multiple massive fybroids which essentially meant I was constantly miscarrying because any fertalised egg couldn't get purchase on womb lining. If you're trying for a baby and it's been more than a year, get your gp to refer you to a specialist. They will then do all the tests and even exploratory surgery or MRI (which I had and that finally identified the fybroids). Fybroids removed in September 2013 and fell pregnant in May 2014, baby boy born February 2015. Took 10 years of mucking about but got there in the end Xxxx
Aww thank you for the advice so is it possible I could of been misdiagnosed the pcos then from what your saying.
Cysts come and go. PCOS is something that ca n improve with weight loss/medication. However fibroids also form over time so it's not something you're born with. How long have u been TTC? I believe in previous posts you mention irregular periods which is actually quite typical of PCOS. This also means you're best chance to conceive is to 1. Try loose weight 2. Have v regular sex or use ovulation kits as you can't calculate ovulation if you're highly irregular
I been TTC for two years now but I'm being referred to the fertility clinic my partner is getting a semen test but I'm gunna see if I can getvtested for blocked tubes as I know that blocked tubes can also affect your fertility. But the first years I had just come of the implant and it took about six months for it to returned my period.
Hi,if youre being referred 2 a fertility clinic they check your tubes.before they start you on any sort of treatment theyll give u an internal scan, check your tubes, test your partner,do bloods and then see what the best option is for you.ive got pcos,it took me three years 2 have my first son, then i had a miscarriage, then after trying for a year i was referred 2 a fertility clinic(as i was for my first pregnancy).after all the tests,i was put on metformin to try and regulate my periods(it helps with your insulin levels)and then after 3 months i started on clomid.on my 5th round when i was ready 2 give up i got pregnant.good luck and i hope you get the help you need.xx
