Had my scan today, they could see a sack but no yolk or heartbeat. The sac looked healthy but was very tiny.
My last period was only 2 days long (they though it was implantation I was about 7-8 wks) But now they are saying maybe it wasn't implantation and I'm 5 weeks.
How many weeks is it normal to see a heartbeat?

I saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks but they say sometimes that can be too early. I only had the scan as I bled otherwise I would of had my first scan at 8 weeks due to it being IVF and they choose 8 weeks because a heartbeat might not be seen before.
The same happened to me. Unfortunately there was no happy end to it. I really hope the sonographers were right an dita just early days 💖 sending loads of love
Hi, sorry to hear your worries.
It could be that you arent as far along as you thought & if they said sac looks healthy its positive news.
I had a private scan at 6 weeks plus 5 & heard a strong heartbeat, will they re scan you before 13 weeks or will you go private? Some clinics scan before 7 weeks xx
I always wait until 7weeks to have a scan as lots of private scans advise you to wait until then to see a heartbeat. Are they offering you another scan in 2 weeks? Finger's crossed for you x
