Hey all am new here but I am over a week late for my period my period tracker said I should have started the 28th of last month so now am woundering if I should try an at home test agine I took one 4 to 5 days ago it said negative any advice

Definitely retake test - use clear blue digital one during first morning pee. Gives accurate results & ur hormones may have been too low b4 if u only just pregnant.

I had period tracker app in 2014 as had mc in Jan 2014 - in July said I was a day late, tested that morning & I was 2 weeks pregnant. Our son was born April 2015 & is nearly 5 months now. He is an absolute angel! We love being parents, he makes us laugh & cry every day!! 😀

I agree with hough - definitely retake. I would say though, to get a range of different branded tests if you can. I used the Clear Blue Digital when I was 2 days late, and it told me I wasn't pregnant. 6 days later (ie when I was 8 days late) I used a Tesco-brand one, which confirmed that I was DEFINITELY pregnant.

I have find the cheap pound shop ones totally accurate if all you need to know is pregnant, yes/no. I'd definitely retest.
