Which compression socks do you need after a c-section?

Just wondering which compression socks/stockings did people use after c-section? There are so many different kinds that exert different amounts of pressure, totally confused. Thanks in advance.

I was given some at the hospital. They were very sexy along with my dishcloth looking knickers they gave me haha!

Not off hand but I'm sure I still have them lol. I will need to look for them but I can try and see and get back to you tomorrow?

I'm surprised by this as for me I had a laparoscopy (same cut as a C-section but for another reason) and was measured up by the hospital for stockings which they then gave to me. Have they told you specifically to buy your own?

I'm not sure it matters. I just bought the ones you put on in aeroplanes - I bought them at the airport - sexy black up to the knee I think they're pretty standard - you don't want to cut your circulation off and they have to be comfortable - but I found this absolutemedical.com/buyers-...
