If its the same as the CAF then I think it's supposed to be voluntary - if you don't want one you can say no thanks. They are supposed to be there to bring together people from different organisations who can help you - e.g. financial advice, health, housing, education etc depending on what you need. But if you don't want one I don't think anyone can make you.

This is from a local authority website......

What is the Early Help Assessment (EHA)?

The purpose of EHA is a whole family assessment which helps determine the needs of all family members and therefore, what is required to help the family meet those needs.

The EHA is not about form filling; it is about having a meaningful conversation with a family about their strengths and challenges, working out what they need and pulling in the right people to provide support - a team around the family (TAF).

It definitely a consent thing, so you don't have to fill anything in you don't want to. Don't feel pressured Hun, make sure they explain anything they give you. Tell them your worries and make them aware of the fact they are actually making you far more anxious than you need to be xxxx

Is it related to ss and im scared if i decline the referal they will get ss involved all over me feeling anxious , i know it sounds stupid but im seeing a support worker for my anxity and she says yhe midwifes havnt spoken to her about any concerns with my mental health( hate that word).but i am concerned if i declined the referal they will get child protection involved and think im going to be a bad parent because of it, when im not this is my first pregnancy and im very nervse about it as ive mc in the past and i feel that when i have rang and asked the midwifes questions they say its me being anxious when im actually just asking questions because i dont know ie, like this form ive asked twice what the form is and they said it will be explained at home visit in 3 weeks yet they told me about it 2 weeks ago , so i see it as it cant be important or yhey would want it done now? Sorry if i seem to ask alot of questions but i am just fed up of being fobed off and told its just my anxities when no i just want to know like every other person x
