Sorry guys tmi I know, but one side of my labia is extremely swollen. I am 35+1 weeks gone. During my last pregnancy I remember being generally swollen down there but nothing like this. I am also very constipated but no other symptoms.

Hello again smiler1985, sounded like a really odd symptom so I googled it. It would appear to be not that odd - it comes up in the search bar as a pregnancy symptom - hormones, trapped blood due to baby positioning, varicose vein or a swollen gland were culprits - in each case they spoke to their Doctor to check it was nothing to worry about - did you raise it with your MW yesterday?

Thank you for replying. I noticed those google posts too just wanted some general advice etc. It didn't swell up till late last night so didn't mention it to the midwife.

I'd get it checked out just for peace of mind that it's nothing to worry about. Let us know how you get on. Good luck.
