Can you register Your baby before leaving the Hospital???

Like I said I'm due on Sunday but since babies aren't predictable I might be having my baby early or later the due date.....my question is Can i register my Baby before I leave the Hospital??

I'm pretty sure you need to make an appointment and go into the registry office. If I remember rightly, if you are not married the father also needs a to attend too if his name is going on the birth certificate. You have 6 weeks to do it so there is no rush. Took 3 weeks for me to get an appointment (baby boom summer so they were busy!!)

You can't until baby is born I believe and they ask for baby's nhs number too which u won't have till baby is here. That's how it worked for me anyway

yes, will need to book after baby is born- get Dad to do this? they do ask for dates of birth and things like that, hence boking afterwards. but you do have 40 days to do this. when baby comes, those first few days will be spent flat out looking after your little one.
