Best places to find maternity clothes?

Hi all! Happy new year to you, babies and bumps! I'm 22+5 and my normal work trousers and jeans are now uncomfortable to wear. Any idea where I can find reasonably priced maternity ones, please? Thanks!

Online - New Look very good. Jeans £15 :') oh and Dorothy perkins do some good stuff too.

Although I did buy some stuff from mothercare in the sales

I really struggled!! Found the fittings terrible! Git a gorgeous pair of jeans in mothercare but that's about it!! Just ended up getting clothes in the next size up! Next have nice things, lots in the sake atm! Xx

H&M were great for maternity clothes, as well as new look :-)

i got all my trousers at new look and a few maternity tops online at asda. I went in store for my trousers as i didnt trust myself to get the right size online. Dont go too mad though as it can be costly for clothes u really are only gonna wear for a few weeks. I got 2 pairs of mat jeans and 1 pair of mat black trousers for work, plus 2 tops at asda. I stuck to wearing my stretchy leggings aswell with summer dresses layered with waterfall cardigans and autumn boots for a more chilly look. These were really comfy plus i could easily remove a layer should i get a hot flush :). Hope u can find urself some great jan sale bargains xx

I got mine frm new look and h and m..some stores hav more online than in store x

Asos and H&M are pretty good, deffo better online than instore. The best pair of jeans I bought were from mama & papas but were fairly pricey, I must've worn them 100 times during pregnancy though! Happy bump shopping :-)

Happy new year to you and your bump ;-)

I got my jeans from H&M, a few tops from New Look as their range is quite good, especially online. I also just went for my regular size but loose fitting regular clothes, Dorothy Perks was good as I was preggers at height of summer I wore alot of their long skirts and could pull them up and over bump & they would still be knee length. Lucky I found these as I had some much fluid in my legs everything was tight and I refused to spend money on a wardrobe that would be short lived. I always liked stuff on ASOS too X

I got leggings and tracksuit bottoms from H+M, very reasonable, really comfy. Got jeans from Mothercare but haven't found them that comfy to be honest. Best buy was 3 dresses from Jojo Maman Bebe, bought them in the sale back in June, wore them all through the summer and now through the winter with leggings underneath. They're cut so well that they just keep expanding with me and have looked good all the way through. They've also got panels in the top to make it easier to breastfeed, so they should be useful after the birth too. Good luck!

For my work trousers I went m and s and bought just regular elasticated waist trousers x

I would really look at the sales at the moment because you wont be wearing maternity for long, I'm so glad I didnt go overboard with buying things early on as it has turned out I've only needed to get a couple of pairs of jeans (which I got from asda and asos in the sale) and all of my old tops still fit me at 33 weeks - I still just buy size 8 or 10 tops as most are stretchy anyway, especially at this time of year i've been wearing mostly jumpers lol :) I've went up to a size 14 trouser at work - my work were supposed to provide me with maternity trousers but they are useless and months later I have not received any! So yes I would look definitely on the asos website as their range is quite fashionable and maybe asda and new look for basics, I did buy maternity tshirts from asda which I thought I'd need but I'm still just wearing my regular tshirts from pre-pregnancy xx

during my last pregnancy i didnt actually bother wit maternity wear, i guess it depends on how much extra weight is gained & what you're comfortable in

H&M sell a good maternal range as well as mothercare.

xx

I found New Look and H&M great value for money and then bought some more quality staple items (work clothes and dresses) from JoJo Maman Bebe xx

H&M for sure - I'm 16 +3 and have been holding out for as long as I can without 'converting', but after my OH's parents got me a voucher for my Birthday, coupled with the sales - well I couldn't resist! I bought some jeans, a pair of leggings (both non sale) and some bump belts, which were reduced from £10 to £3! As for tops, I'm going to try and wear the OH's shirts and jumpers!

My Mum also got me two dresses from Mothercare (the Blooming Marvellous brand), which were in the sales, too.

Primark have maternity jeans, but I didn't like them personally, because the under bump fitting felt too uncomfortable!

Xx

P.S - The H&M jeans were more than I wanted to spend (£30), but OH MY GOD THEY'RE SO COMFY. And, once the LO is here, I'm going to save them for future Christmas dinners, lol!!

H&M great because you can order loads of stuff in different sizes and then send back what you don't want. Also - EBAY is brilliant if you don't want to spend a lot on clothes you're not going to wear for that long... I got a couple of pairs of jeans from H&M (I'd recommend the over-the-bump band, so comfy) and I've been getting most of my basic tops and a couple of simple maternity dresses from EBAY. For jumpers I'd suggest just get a couple in larger sizes - I got a couple of lovely oversized ones in a sale at H&M. Also - the NCT Nearly New sales are worth a look. Good luck!

I got some great work clothes at seraphine.co.uk - great quality and fit and I didn't think too expensive. They have a sale on now too. For basic tees and vests and leggings H&M were brilliant. Also try JoJo Maman Bebe (shops and online). Happy shopping?

Thanks for all the really helpful tips and recommendations! I bought a pair of H&M over the bump jeans at the weekend and plan to get a pair of work trousers from Mothercare I found online this week. Thanks again, everyone! :-) x
