Metanium was brilliant when bubs got a nappy rash with thrush, only time he had it in 10 wks. Also use Sudocream for everyday use Xx

I use zinc and castor oil cream.....he's never had nappy rash with it. The only time he did was when he was in scbu in hospital and they said the antibiotics caused a rash x

Believe it or not "Vaseline" is very good for nappy rash as it helps the skin (on baby's bum) to stay as moisturised as possible & also adds a sort of barrier to any wee or poo in & around the nappy.

We've always used Bepathen and never had any botty trouble (even with reusable nappies) x

I've always use sudocrem. But I know metanium is excellent if it's particularly bad. X

Yeh agree with metanium. X

A very good natural cream is "SheaButter". It works wonders. When I used it for my baby, his rash was gone overnight. If the rash is so bad you might give it 2days. Also buy the real sheabutter not the perfumed ones. You can check this website " akamuti.co.uk" its also great for baby skin.

A real must buy is Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter - not for baby's bum, but for your face! It's amazing stuff!! Xx

Alot of people have said it's helped with their excema but didn't help with me or my family but it is a lovely moisturiser

An old cream called fullers earth is really good. Recommended to me by my mum who was recommended it by my great gramdma. Really does the trick and is great on dry skin too!

I used to use Johnson's but it wasn't very good. First time I used bepanthen I wasn't keen but it's brill I use it all the time now x

Just to say, Hugo suddenly developed nappy rash (he is teething) used sudocrem daily as a preventive... got metanium today and after 2 applications, rash has gone. Still have a very grumpy teething boy though!! :( x
