Hello . Oddly enough I went shopping yesterday for maternity clothes , and after throwing a mini tantrum in the changing rooms came back with nothing . The reason for the splurge was that all my leggings are digging in a little . Today I found a pair of tights in my drawer that I have never worn as they are an xl ( I think ) . I am usually a s or xs , so I have them on , pulled up over my bump , and they feel so comfy . Hope this helps as a temporary solution . X

Two years ago (when pregnant with my first child ) I tried several brands and the best fitting ones for me (8 months pregnant at the time) were ASDAS own ! They were only about £4, they looked very odd like something with a kangaroo pouch but they worked, stayed on/over bump without cutting me in half. Good luck!

Hi! I recently had the same problem and have tried a few different brands and have found mother care to be the most comfy. They come right over the bump and they don't fall down and the other bonus is they aren't too expensive!

Have also been wearing a "bando" - I got one in white and one in black from naturalbabyshower.co.uk - best thing ever - feels like it just gives a bit of extra support to the bump so it's not just hanging - I'm convinced that it must help with stretch marks too. Plus great for the gym! Good luck!

Hi, I would recommend H&M - Think they are £7 for 2 pairs & are very comfy over the bump. Hope you find some comfy ones soon!

Hi, I have the same problem despite only being 17 weeks my bump is already quite big. Like Hbaby1 my leggings have started to dig in me so bought some XL 100 deniers tights from Primark, despite being an M usually. You can pull them right over your bump they don't slip and are very comfortable they only cost £3.

Hi! In a fit of festive cheer I bought a red pair and a green pair from Mothercare recently. I'm wearing a pair today and had to keep sneaking into the toilet to hoik them up - crotch between inner thighs is not a good look, and they kept trying to take my knickers with them!!! It might be because my bump isn' that big yet. They are very comfy though :o)

At the mo I'm a rather large 21 weeks I have bought thick tights from primark one large pair fitted perfectly, however the other(same size apparently) did not. As for leggings new look do good maternity jeggings over bumps which I prefer at this time of year to keep bump warm. I still have some room in them and they are so comfy I forget they're over bumps. Bought some large thick tights from sainsburys which don't roll down either, but have quite a bit of extra length to them, saying that I'm only five foot tall. Lol

Thanks everyone, got some good ones in Marks(maternity ones). Normal ones are just not the thing. The rolling down, taking the knickers along was driving me mad. Over the bump is the way to go. X

Maybe a bit random - but how about hold ups? I've got some great opaque ones (which stay up brilliantly) and there's no need to buy anything different for before/after pregnancy. Because they're opaque/40 denier, they're really long lasting too. I'm pretty sure that most places (M&S etc.. would do them)
