15 weeks sickness
aww poor u! this is the rough part, but it should get better. When I had really bad sickness I sipped at water throughout the day to keep fluids up and ate really plain dry foods like cheese toasties and crisps. There is no real aid to this except to persevere and as hard as it is, try to keep eating.
if you find u get sick as soon as u get out of bed, try keeping a pack of arrowroot biscuits by ur bed with a drink of water. Before u even step foot out of bed, eat 2 biscuits and take a few sips of water. This should help keep the nausea at bay for at least an hour, giving u a chance to try and eat some breakfast.
I really hope it does not last long for you and passes quickly xx
Really sympathise as I've always had nausea starting at about 10 wks and going on to about 16 wks (or 20 wks in this pregnancy!) so I know how it feels to think 'why now!?' but I have never done much actual vomiting so consider myself lucky there! gigglysheep has given all the best tips. Eating a little bit whenever you can can really helps with the nausea for me as it is definitely linked to having an empty tummy (which is why it is such a bummer when you are actually being sick all the time - it's a vicious circle!). Also for the time being don't worry too much about eating fantastic healthy food - eat what you fancy. I find I become really picky about what I want and this time went off the fairly italian diet we normally eat (lots of freshly prepared soups, pasta etc.) and started wanting a tin of heinz tomato soup every lunchtime - so that's what I ate until I got through the rough patch! If you feel that you are going through a period of not being able to keep anything down, even fluids, then see your GP.
Thank you seems to be ok atm just hope it goes soon!
