Does anyone else have experience of taking Clomid, or know of anyone else who has? And if so, did you have any side effects or problems while you/they were taking it? And did it work for you/them?

One of the problems with clomid is that it tends to dry up cervical fluid. Your best odds of getting pregnant (assuming you are ovulating) is to do the baby dance when you are producing egg-white quality cervical fluid just before you ovulate.

I'd suggest that you try to read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It's loaded with a wealth of information and is something of the defacto bible for couples experiencing fertility challanges.

Hi

I took clomid last Dec after trying to get pregnant for nearly 2 and a half years. I had really irregular periods and no evidence as to whether I was ovulating. I was seeing a fertility consultant and he prescribed it. It worked for me as I am due tomorrow! I took it for days 2-5 of my Dec cycle and found out I was pregnant in Jan.

I did get side effects though. It made me very spaced out. I am a tutor and one of the days I was taking it I knocked on the wrong house. I was planning on taking it in the evening instead of the morning in the next cycle but it wasn't necessary.
