No - it's not indicated. NICE guidelines for anaemia in pregnancy = treat if less than 10.5 x

I'm confused. You've now asked variations of this question three times on this forum today, and you have had lots of replies. Your iron level is normal. If you're worried you could talk to your GP and get their advice. I'm not sure what else anyone can say. I'm not trying to be rude or upset you, it's just you seem determined to get iron tablets when there is no need. I know it's a really worrying time and you want everything to be okay. But I feel you really need to trust your healthcare team - they are following national guidelines on what is safe for you and the baby.

If the gp or midwife was concerned about ur iron lrvels they would give u iron tablets. The fact they haven't obviously means its not an issue. As above people have answered ur questions to the best they could so maybe if ur really concerned go and speak to a gp. I dont even kno what my iron levels are and unless u show symptoms of having low levels shudnt really b an issue?

I agree with ceribean and scoffcat I had no idea what my iron levels were just assumed all wad well as nothing was said by midwife. Overdosing on vitamins can be very dangerous. Pregnancy is stressful enough without trying to find problems that aren't there! Relax and trust the professionals!
