Hello Ladies, I'm pregnant with my first baby...
Congratulations on your pregnancy, and welcome to the wonderful world of morning sickness! In answer to your question, yes these glorious symptoms can start as early as 6-7 weeks. I had no sickness during my first pregnancy but suffered from 6-11ish weeks this time.
Stay as hydrated as you can, take a pregnancy supplement if you're not already (pregnacare is widely recommended) and eat whatever you can face - generally plain stuff goes down better! It won't last forever
Enjoy your pregnancy x
congrats and welcome aboard the pregnancy rollercoaster. The symptoms begin and finish at different times for different people, mine started about at 8 weeks but at 30 weeks am still in the mornings I found tht eating ice lollies was nice as didn't even want to drink. I ate quite a bit of salt and vinegar crisps, some how they helped but just take each day as it comes and if u fancy something just eat it as will assure u the next day u probli wont want it. its not nice but on plus side its meant to be a good thing if u have sickness. hopefully u wont feel to rough for long, take care xx
Thanks. Found that eating pickles seems to help the nausea going away for a bit
Hi. Congrats on your pregnancy. I started feeling sick about week 6 and tired from earlier. It affects people in different ways but all sounds normal to me. Top tip is to eat little and often. Makes a huge difference to sickness. Also get plenty of sleep, can feel worse if tired. Don't worry about it. You'll find what works for you. I found the tiredness has varied over the last few weeks but naps helped loads. Hope this helps. All the best.
when my nausea was at its peek all i could do was eat bread throughout the day to keep it at bay. it helped if i ate a slice of bread every 2hrs. It will get better even if it does feel like it wont right now xx
Oh, lots of sympathy! I'm in the same boat - 10 weeks now and feel sick all the time, although the exhaustion has gone a little bit now - I was having naps every afternoon and sleeping for around 12 hours a day in total. I recommend bland food, and just eat what you can. I've found it helps to only put a tiny amount out on the plate, and go back for seconds if I want - a big plate of food is just so offputting. Good luck!
Yes, thinking of my baby all the time thank you for your answer
