Speak to your midwife. Whilst I was a slimming world, other members who were pregnant stayed on and continued with the plan. Their midwife had said it is basically a healthy eating plan so fine in pregnancy.

My bmi was over by a touch but it went under when I lost about a stone at the beginning of pregnancy due to morning sickness, I have been trying to eat really healthy and have cut out fizzy drinks altogether which was my downfall. I have been going swimming and have also met other pregnant women there. I haven't intentionally lost weight just thought there wud b now 2 people who wud benefit if I was healthier. having a balanced diet is a good thing and as long as ur eating and drinking plenty then whats the harm. xx

my bmi was 32 , like u a lost a stone due to morning sickness , im nearly 28weeks with a girl and still half a stone lighter than start ! i had my glucose test last week but haven't heard from them so must b clear ( they said they would only contact me if it was + ) I still have a pretty bad diet but i do a lot of walking . I did do ww last year to loose my baby weight I was still carrying from my now 3yo ( gained over 3st with him ) while ttc no.2 and my leader said I was fine to do the plan if I got caught but my point allowance would slightly increase.

a friend who lost a lot of weight on the plan and became a leader did it throughout her pregnancy although obviously she gained weight she stuck to healthy eating to make sure the extra weight was baby not excess gain .

Speak to your midwife or contact the slimming world leader and ask if you can join whilst pregnant. I lost alot of weight before I met my husband so when Igot pregnant I took it as a green flag to eat myself to oblivion. After my baby was born I was hammering back on the weight watchers door trying to loose my 3 stone that I put on.

It's just about healthy eating but if you feel like you need a hand with the correct foods etc then I dont really see the harm in joining.
