I recently had a mmc in January and am expecting again at 9 weeks but u don't have the symptoms I had first time round. Is this normal? I have taken many tests all saying positive but says that a test can still be positive even if you have had a miscarriage.

I don't feel pregnant? Should I at nearly 9 weeks?
Congratulations, if you've took more than one test your defiantly pregnant sorry to hear of last time in January, symptoms vary from pregnancy to pregnancy book in see your midwife and get your scan booked. If your anxious book a private scan to be reassured.. Wish you the very best x
I really feel for you as I stopped having any symptoms to speak of at 8 weeks and the 4 weeks to my scan last Friday crawled at an agonising pace! I scoured the Internet to feed my need for horror stories/reassurances and was utterly convinced I'd had a mmc.
Went for scan last Friday though and everything was absolutely fine, baby was alive and my massive tum was not just a giant piece of cake as I'd feared.
I would (hypocritically) say try not to worry, as women's pregnancies can be really different, and echo that you could go to the epu for a scan if you are doing your pieces.
Good luck, and congratulations!
Xx
Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy it's totally understandable for you to worry but do try not to. A lack of symptoms is something that so many ladies worry about but it isn't a sign that anything has gone wrong at all. I was sick and grumpy and exhausted throughout the first trimester of this pregnancy, but when I was pregnant with my son I had no symptoms at all to begin with! I was convinced I'd made the whole thing up and would get to the scan to be told there had never been a baby! Now that I can compare the 2, I can assure you that you're much better off missing out on the sickness and other rubbish stuff
Stay healthy, try not to worry too much up until the scan x
Congratulations. I can't say that you will ever stop worrying when pregnant after a mc as I know I didn't. You have only got 3 more weeks until you have your 12week scan which will soon be here. I never had any pregnancy symptoms with any of my pregnancies so everyone is different. Ring your GP and ask for a booking app with the midwife and talk to her about how you are feeling. Try not to stress to much.
congrats, my symptoms didn't start till 9 weeks so either u wont have any or they just haven't started yet, I wish I didn't have any. I am 26 weeks and am still sick every morning which is really getting on my nerves. I understand ur worry so try and relax. every pregnancy is different and every pregnancy springs up different suprises. take care xx
That's great news! Don't worry some women don't have any symptoms at all. My friend also had a mmc and is now pregnant again. She's been freaking out because she doesn't feel pregnant and it's unlike her first pregnancy. She booked a private scan at 7 weeks and there was a heart beat. As she's a high risk pregnancy, she had a scan at 10 weeks with the consultant and there again there was a happy foetus. You could always book a private reassurance scan if the wait is agonising. If you choose that option, make sure you choose a reputable one though. Good luck and try not to worry (easily sad than done!). xx
