About a decade ago - when I was not accustomed to postural hypotension, I was shuffling around the end of the bed (in the dark, to avoid waking my late wife) and I collapsed in a heap on the floor!I have now had there cardioversions, two catheter ablations and two pacemakers... and I have got into the habit of making sure that my heart is working before I try to walk.
Big ouchies!
