We have been on our South beach this morning. The after storm devastation is truly awful. Seaweed almost 5 feet high in places, lobsters, crabs, porpoises and seabirds all dead. Plastic rubbish and ropes being picked up by volunteers. Mother nature can be wonderful but also cruel at times.

Was a good walk Jerry, wish we could help clear up but with my immune system in the state it is, just dare not risk it. Kitchen garden calls now, yes can get out today and cut Autumn raspberries back. Need to sort bird feeders out, had a Goldfinch this morning. We have to buy new nest boxes and noticed a man down the road making and selling them. Enjoy your day
Heartbreaking
When we have a storm, although I'm now limited by my condition, I'll take a bag of seaweed home for the garden and allotment, sorting through it to discard the plastic and other rubbish. Every little helps
