Laurence Olivier’s father, Gerard Kerr Olivier, was a curate at St Saviour’s and Lord Olivier was a choirboy and altar server. The founder of modern lawn tennis, Walter Clopton Wingfield, was a regular worshipper and the writer Sir Compton Mackenzie was married in the church.

Lovely photos darling. Laurence Olivier is my all time favourite actor so I was particularly interested in the connection with the church . His father was also rector in Letchworth - a town not too far from me.Stay warm and safe today cc😘

I missed a great shot of him with his paws on the cuboard door nobs he was waiting for breakfast I wouldn't mind but he had some earlier lol he dashed out in the snow so fast couldn't get photo 🙀he's back now only out about 2o mins he has litter tray but he's not keen we'll probably knowing he has to share it with his mummy LOL😁😁😁
