3/4 St Saviours Church Pimlico
Built in1860 by Thomas Cubit and payed for by the 1st Duke of Westminster, the church has had a number famous parishioners, here are a few
Laurence Olivier’s father, Gerard Kerr Olivier, was a curate at St Saviour’s and Lord Olivier was a choirboy and altar server. The founder of modern lawn tennis, Walter Clopton Wingfield, was a regular worshipper and the writer Sir Compton Mackenzie was married in the church.
Lovely photos darling. Laurence Olivier is my all time favourite actor so I was particularly interested in the connection with the church . His father was also rector in Letchworth - a town not too far from me.Stay warm and safe today cc😘

I missed a great shot of him with his paws on the cuboard door nobs he was waiting for breakfast I wouldn't mind but he had some earlier lol he dashed out in the snow so fast couldn't get photo 🙀he's back now only out about 2o mins he has litter tray but he's not keen we'll probably knowing he has to share it with his mummy LOL😁😁😁

I usually try to take one at 6 a.m as the streets are empty. But I must admit some mornings I just turn over and go back to sleep 🤣🤣xx

Ever thought of being a tour guide / guided walks when we welcome tourists to London . You could guide them with photos too .
