Thankyou for the link Snowdrops, I don't know if everyone who has had the vaccination received any pamphlet information, at the Hospital I was given a few and hidden away was this link. Thank you again 😘xx

Men sometimes πŸ˜…, hey sure you have your second Vaccination appointment on there as well, yellow card! Please check Barry and put it on your fridge with a fridge magnet or your wallet! You don't want to loose that as it's also evidence you had first or both of your Vaccinations πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ’³πŸ˜…πŸ‘

We didn't get anything, no info at all and we weren't even asked to sit down during the injection.

You are joking right???? Where on earth was that???? Not impressed about that πŸ‘

springcross in reply to Snowdrops_17

No neither were we but there you go. Our friends went to the same place and had the same as us two days earlier, no seating and no info!

Bad that πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ sorry you had to stand as you supposed to stay for 15 mins or so in case you have a reaction to the Vaccine!!!! Terrible ☹️

springcross in reply to Snowdrops_17

I was given mine by one of our GPs and I said to him when he said we could leave, do we sit in the car for fifteen minutes and wait then and he said no, there's no need to do that with this vaccine which was the Oxford AstraZenica. I think it's a bit odd as other people who have had the same in different locations were told to wait fifteen minutes before leaving.

Snowdrops_17 in reply to springcross

Absolutely! Sorry but I would report that springcross and quickly! That is breach of Vaccination protocol big style! My son's girlfriend had a reaction and wasn't well for a few days! Will ask her once more tonight πŸ™πŸ’–

Yes, I agree. Where we went in Rochdale was fantastic apart from not being given a yellow card xxxxβ€οΈπŸ’œπŸ€—πŸŒˆπŸŒΉπŸŒ»

I had the same vaccine as you and had to wait 15 minutes! I would complain about that!! Lots of love and hugs Lynne xxxx β€οΈπŸ€—πŸ’œπŸ€—πŸŒˆπŸŒΉ

That sounds terrible, I couldn't praise the St Thomas's Hospital Enough. I didn't know exactly where to go and got there 40 minutes before my appointment, they said no problem come in. Inside had my details taken by a nurse, sat down for 2 minutes had my name called and was out in 15 minutes, all very professional and social distancing abided by and they offered me a 2nd jab date.Xx

springcross profile image
springcross in reply to Bazzak

We were in there less than eight minutes. No arm swab before or after. Mind you they were being done in the local rugby club but even so, you'd think they would have given us some info at least and we weren't given a date for the next one either, we were just told it would be in about twelve weeks!

Snowdrops_17 profile image
Snowdrops_17 in reply to springcross

I am pretty appalled about no swapping arm before Vaccination! Me personally I shall insist they will do this first and PPE, like gloves, aprons and facemasks, plus or visor! They should be no difference if you have your Vaccination in a Rugby facility or Vaccination Centre how to carry out the Vaccination procedure!!!I do really hope they will change that and quickly Springcross πŸ€—πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ’•

And that's how it should be Barry! My elderly neighbor was taken to her Vaccination by her granddaughter's husband and they waited 8 hours, Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate! Will have to ask her how it went and if she has her second Vaccination appointment as well!!!

in reply to Snowdrops_17

HiThank youYes, that's true. It was very well organized. We stayed for 15 minutes after vaccination.

How are you feeling tonight?

I had to stay until my arm stopped bleeding as I'm on an anti coagulant. Apart from that it wasn't necessary to wait as I was given the Oxford one.

in reply to MadBunny

Yes so was we but we still had to wait which I didn't mind xxxxπŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ’œβ€οΈ

All in good time! I really don't want another lockdown, in Winter it's more difficult to cope then in Spring like 1st lockdown Lynne! I pray people will stay patient as the more are vaccinated the better we can open up the economy again πŸ™

Yes, I agree. Winter is definitely harder to isolate in but we have to do it don't we?!?! I do hope people stay patient too. Can't wait to be out of lockdown but we will just have to be patient like you said.Lots of love and hugs Lynne xxxx β€οΈπŸ€—πŸ’œπŸ€—πŸŒˆπŸŒΉ

What a relief for all of you. She will need to tell her GP to add these details to her medical notes for future reference. Also, she will need advice about having the second jab.Cheers anyway.
