Today's power walk

β€’26 Replies

Hi all

Hope you've all had a good day.

I did get out today even though the weather wasn't the best, we've had thick fog all day and showers, I did get a bit wet but not too bad. You can see in the photos on how foggy it was.

I walked 11.03 miles and burnt 867 calories, I'm happy with that.

I saw some more Snowdrops today so we are forever closing in on Spring.

Have a lovely evening all and stay safe and well.

Thank you KoKo, it's always good to get out and enjoy nature, although I'll be honest I do prefer it when it's sunny and warm - I don't want much, honestly πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ˜πŸ˜xxx

I totally see that since you are such an active person. But I also love countries that have four seasons when you can see changes and opportunity to change up wardrobes also 🀣🀣πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈxxx

Thank you and I definitely can't sit still. We had awesome weather here in the UK last Spring, I was walking on average around 12 miles a day and was cycling as well.

Yes we can wear our woolly jumpers in the Autumn and Winter.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸ™πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ xxx

Thank you KoKo, when the weather is so good it makes it much easier to get out. The cycle rides were about 35 miles in the country, it was awesome πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’˜ xxx

You’re welcomed Alicia. Always appreciate warm weather for me because I get migraine when it’s too cold. The speed of 35 miles for bicycle is unbelievable πŸ€—Great jobπŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸŒˆπŸŒˆπŸŒˆβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈxxx

Hi Jerry that's a lovely photo nice horse I fed the squirells and 2 robins came and a yellow chest one there were a lot singing hope you had good day I'm hoping to catch up on sleep 😊😸

The mist gives the photos atmosphere. There were more Snowdrops today so we are getting closer to Spring. I didn't plan to walk so far today because of the weather but it just happened.

That's a beautiful photo Jerry of the horse standing in the snow. The weather changes so quickly.

Have a lovely evening.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! 11 Miles. That's fantastic. And a Power Walk at that!!!! So proud of you. Will you define a Power Walk for us?

The fog makes the photos more beautiful. And the lovely flowers!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Where do you do your Power Walks??

I was up to 8 Miles 2X day. Big break in-between.

At age 70 and after an auto accident, I'm down to two to three.

You are crazyfitness. What else do you do?

β€’ in reply tosophie4

Thank you, so lovely of you to say. Power Walking is just a very brisk walk, I've always walked fast,

The fog really does and we have thick fog again today but I exercised indoors today.

I power walk right by the coast on the edge of the South Hams near to Plymouth and I live right on the coast.

Oh my goodness, that's some walking - amazing.

I'm so sorry you had an accident but well done to you for walking two or three, it still makes a difference, much better than being sat indoors.

I bake and cook a fair bit as I make just about all my own food, I buy ready made as a treat, in fact I bought some today, but it's rare for me to buy ready made. I work at a school but during exam times but of course that's not possible at the moment so I'm not working. My exercise does take quite often about 3 hours out of the day as I love a good distance.

Still looks lovely even in the fog Alicia. Love to see snowdrops, they always give me a lift - Spring is on the way.

β€’ in reply toSmiler53

Thank you. I do love to see the Snowdrops as well as it's a sure sign of Spring, I love this time of year when we are looking forward to the trees getting their leaves and the warmer weather plus the days getting longer.
