I just want to thank all of you so very much for welcoming me, showing me so much kindness and support, and most of all, giving me so very many laughs!
I have to take a break for a while so do not want to appear rude in not getting back to anyone or participating.
Like each and every one of us, I've been struggling for many reasons and now am going to have to focus for a time on my health, and getting things under control.
Love you all, you really are a bunch of very special people and I'm so thankful I've had the privilege to ‘meet' you! Please, all take very good care, of yourselves and others. Xxx
I'll leave you with Jimmy, just one of the very special little feathered friends of mine!
He is a true survivor! Abandoned by his parents, he was left to quite probably die. He had an infection of the throat, very commonly seen and often, unfortunately, fatal. He decided to ‘adopt ‘ my OH and the two became best buddies He'd follow him around everywhere and would always be waiting for him to return from outings. My OH hand fed him for about 2 months and he got stronger and stronger until one day, just like a teenager, he decided he was ready to go it alone! We were a little sad but so overjoyed to see him with his friends, up to the usual Jackdaw antics and making us feel like proud parents!
Just like Jimmy, we can, and I believe will, see things through to a brighter future!
