Oh breathtaking photos again. I love nature and the great outdoors. It's also nice knowing who I chat with on the forum. I now have your picture in my mind and you look like the kind of person I'd get on with.

Great photo of you Alicia, I can see something in the far left corner of the photo, I can't quire make it out. It looks like something in stone. Or is that just my eyesight. The pictures are great. 🐎🐴🐎

Rosepetal60 is right it's a stone cross in the photo but I can't remember the name of it.
I also meant to say that I took a photo of a bird on the bracken and you can see it by zooming in, it fly away when I tried to get closer.

Dear Alicia,
I know Dartmoor well, from Childhood- we used to stay at a Guest House near Torquey. Yes Widdicum- in- the -Moor (I think that's right), Two Bridges, Okehampton, Bovy Tracy and, of course, the 'Grey & Bleek' Pricetown- dominated by the Prison.
We climbed 'Tors', hills and embankments gallore- followed ditches and streams, sometimes for 'miles' (at least fifty yards!)- yes many a happy day, on that Moor- Inoccent days, before my Parents Divorced. Thinking about, it now, is bringing back, so many Memories.
You mention 'Part Two', in your Title.... I didn't see a Part1, can you Direct me please?
I might see if I can copy, some of these pictures- if you don't mind. (I promise they are only for MY use.)

Dartmoor is such a beautiful place, it can be a bit wild and grey in the Winter, especially Princetown, but absolutely glorious in Spring, Summer and early Autumn. The prison is a bit of a blot on the landscape. Two Bridges though bot far away is very pretty as is Dartmeet.
I'm glad it's bringing back memories of your childhood and innocence, what wonderful tears they are.
