Mellow Yellow!! 😊💕💕🎅🏻

💛🌟😁I love yellow but I like to see green when I'm out it's soothing to the mind I like all colours really tend to go for bright I have lots clothes all different I like pink but I'd say deep lilac is my favourite colour in a house I like beigies and creams though I don't like gordy wall paper I used to do one wall in a stand out colour but I find it becomes too dominant I like the walls to blend in now and put bright pictures on tho how about you xx

depends on which shade. love some shades of blue and hate most of them. love yellow, especially creamy, love vibrant tomato or raspberry red, love all shades of green.

I love two of them equally. Blue for the sky and yellow for warm sunshine!

Thats a difficult one. I dont have one special colour. Each colour reminds me of something special. ...........Red reminds me always of Christmas and the time I believe I saw Father Christmas sitting on my bed filling my stocking. Yellow takes me to the warm sunny days of Summer, the beach, swimming and the long school holidays that seemed to be endless back then. Pink...candyfloss at the fair after a day at the seaside when I was young. Also a beautiful pink dress I wore to my first school dance. Green always reminds me of Spring, new growth and hope for the future, Orange takes me to Autumn and woodland trees changing colour, nature starting to take a rest. Purple reminds me of my Mum as it was her favourite colour and she wore it a lot. Blue is the colour of the sky particularly when its a clear, beautiful day, A midnight blue sky with twinkling stars and crescent moon reminds me of a time walking home from a trip to the cinema with my dad. He pointed out the interesting things to be seen in the sky at night. It was the first time I remember hearing about the Milky Way. I was so amazed at his knowledge and his enthusiasm initiated an interest in me learning more as I grew older. Night time reminds me of Bonfire night too with fireworks shooting their colours. Jack Jumpers, catherin wheels, rockets and those lovely sparklers you held in your hand. White is the colour of the first fall of snow that never fails to excite us. My daughter, pink cheeked and mesmerised, making footprints in the first fall of snow she saw. The fun of trying to work out which animal or bird made which footprints in the snow in the garden. Snowball fights that erupted amongst families and friends. The colour black means a few things to me. Coal is black which reminds me of the hard times the old coal miners experienced, including my grandfather, to ensure industry kept going and families kept warm. Black, to me is also the colour of night. The time we rest and recover in time for a new day.Merry Christmas everyone.

Hi Curly, yes, that favourite colour post took me on a journey to the past. It was good though, as many happy memories were evoked. Be careful doing your roots... another memory of mine when a friends hair turned green after putting colour on her hair. I dont know what happened but a hairdresser friend said its not an unusual thing to happen. I had very dark hair like my dad which I've allowed to go grey now, but my mum said she was very worried as I didn't grow any hair until I was three years old!

It looks a lovely colour Curly. All set to be a glamour girl now for that special day tomorrow! After such a dreadful day yesterday, with flooding near where I live in Wales. today is very cold but sunny with a beautiful blue sky. I wanted to go for a walk but the phone kept ringing so I think I'll have to leave it now. Strange weather to say the least. Do you dress up for Christmas day? I usually put on a dress as its a special day. Won't be going to my daughters now, she and her partner will becoming to me. Her partner is doing the cooking as he enjoys cooking. Ill just lay the table prettily and look out some nice gentle, Christmas music.

Cheers.

Thank you. It started out very simply thinking what came to mind thinking of a specific colour. The rest followed as I took a trip down memory lane. I'm so glad you enjoyed it as much as I did the journey. Cheers.
