We would be as well but sadly its not to be this year.
I'm glad we didn't book anything away for Christmas and new year or Christmas day lunches as that really would have stung hard having them cancelled when you are really looking forward to it!

Bella has done the same thing since she was little. Before the pandemic, even if I was just going away for a night or a weekend and packed a small bag, she'd sit on it. Then when I'd get her off the bag, she'd sprint to the front door and sit in front of that. Little booger 😹

Bella is really good at being sad or pretending to be sad. One time she had dental surgery and she was acting so helpless afterwards. She could barely eat so I had to spoon-feed her. She could barely drink, so I had to pipette water into her mouth. She was so wobbly that I had to help her to the litter box and then when she was done, I had to help her out of the litter box. I didn't leave my apartment for 4 days because of this.
I was married at the time and told my husband to watch her for a few minutes while I popped out and ran a quick errand. The minute I left, she got up out of the little bed I made for her, used the litter box by herself, ate by herself, walked all over the apartment happy as could be... My ex husband documented the whole thing. But the minute I came home and she heard the door open, she darted back to her bed and pretended like she could barely open her eyes. Thank god my ex got pictures of her up and about because I would never have known!

What a great story and you told it beautifully with love and passion for little Bella. You’re the best mommy they could ever have 🤗. When it comes to these babies, it is so hard when we see them in pain. Same here, one time Sonya I noticed her just went into my bed and sit there with sad face and quiet (usually she follows me everywhere). I was so paranoid that I gave her some treats and she didn’t want which alarmed me. It was holiday that her vet office was closed I couldn’t bring her in for checkup. I just ran to the drugstore and got some pepto bismol (I gotta improvise as she might ate something) and gave her while praying please not today. 20 mins later, she came out and ate her food lol. It was quite terrifying moment i thought i was loosing her. And yes, we are suckers for those sad baby faces 🤣😇😻

You're a great mommy to Sonya 😻 And you couldn't be more right- It's so hard when we see them in pain, or even just a little uncomfortable. They're our babies! Bella follows me everywhere, just like Sonya follows you. If she isn't right next to me or on me, I know something is wrong 😹 Ok, I'm done with the cat pics now
