Hi smiler53, I recommend pyracantha for use as a form of house security as you are aware the thorns are like needles..😊🙏

You're not kidding, I've lost count of the times it's got me. How the birds fly into it at full pelt and the squirrels walk over it amazes me - Ouch!

I recommend it..but as a gardener by trade it's not a plant I enjoy working on..🤣🙏

That's one of the quintessential colours of autumn. I'm sure I smelled the scent of drying leaves when I looked this!
