Anyone following my saga ove the last few months will know the latest problem. I had a biopsy on scalp lesion. Told it was skin cancer and made appt. for yesterday to have it removed with curretage and courterage (think that's right). This I have done privately as GP said 28 weeks waiting list even for consultation, and I have got that many other problems ongoing just needed it to be sorted and out of the way. No chance! So costing an arm and a leg, but that as my daughter says is what our savings are for! Can't really argue with that! So get there yesterday and low and behold, had to change procedure to exctraction? as it wasn't superficial after all, as they thought, it had gone deeper into scalp. So now another biopsy so see if there are any further complications, and yet more worry! Had another uncomfortable night as not only lack of sleep, can't lay down and the wound is bleeding on and off! DH Is worried as he can't really help and obviously I am keeping him awake as well. Am beginning to wonder when it will all end, or if it ever will! That is before taking into account DH's problems, or even giving a thought to Covid. Stay safe and take care. xx

Hi
I'm so sorry to read this. You are going through enough already. I will say a prayer for you and your family tonight. Pm me anytime of day or night, if you can't sleep I'm always up
I'm so sorry. This must be really worrying for you. Your daughter is quite right that there is no point in having money saved if it's not used for that rainy day problem which can be helped through its use. Sadly it does highlight the length of waiting lists for NHS treatment.
One good thing, even though you are quite rightly worried, is that you still sound buoyant and as if you ready for whatever lies ahead. Wishing you all the best going forward and hoping for the quickest possible and best outcome for you.🙏
Extra sorry if you are also feeling down. It's really easy to say and hard to do when you are tense and/or depressed, but the best help is to try not to let your mind run on ahead too far. It can't change outcomes and only makes you feel much worse. Take care and thinking of you! 🙏
Sorry to hear this Shelwhitt. I know we have to get on top of the Covid but I feel so many other conditions are being neglected by the health service. It must be a worrying time for you and your family and hopefully it will be successfully treated. Head wounds always tend to bleed quite a bit. I hope you get on top of this situation quickly and make a full recovery. 😊🌸🌺
I'm really sorry to hear this SW, it's worrying enough having it in the first place but all this just makes you feel so much worse and that doesn't help matters. I sincerely hope you can get some peace of mind from it all soon. All the best. xx
Thank you so much Mydexter. I think part of the problem is that I feel to tired and worn out with everything at the moment, I really need a boost to kickstart me into positive thinking again. xx
So sorry to read your post it is awful when one thing comes on top of another. So glad you paid privately. I can empathise as my husband has cancer and is having worrying symptoms and they want to do a colonoscopy 4 weeks in and still no appointment. I am trying to persuade him to go for one privately but at the moment it is falling on deaf ears. Take care and I hope you get an easier night and the news on the further biopsy is good. Thinking of you.x
Thank you rosewine. It is a horrible time for everyone without extra worry. Hope you manage to convince your husband to go privately and that things progress well. Take care and stay safe.
