Lovely, just wonderful.

Dear All,

I'm sitting in my Favourite Chair, with the window 'slightly' open.... Listening to the Wind And Rain😁. It's such a 'Change' from ALL that Sun..... I have to be so careful, you see. Not only have I ANCA Vasculitis, but also have had a Kidney Transplant, so I have to use a Factor Fifty Plus 'Sun Cream'- which is thankfully Prescribed.

I DON'T mean to 'Rain on anyone's parade', and YES I Do like the 'Look' of the Sun, it Does brighten 'things' up..... BUT! I might even 'Stay Here' a while longer, it is 11:30 pm, maybe I'll 'Nod Off' here.... I'll just clean my teeth first.

I WILL probably 'regret' this, later on, but I'm Still 'Up'... time now gone 1:45am. I'm still listening to the rain, though I have Shut the window. The rain is 'Hitting' my windows, at the moment, and the lights- from across the way, are Showing off the 'Ever Changing Patterns' on the glass. Funnily enough, the Windows were only Cleaned at about Ten this- sorry- yesterday morning.

My Feet are getting 'Cold', so is my Back, I'm in a Draft- despite the window being closed- I need both a 'Wee' and a Drink.... I should go to bed...... BUT it Sounds so bl--dy 'lovely', sitting here.....

It has Stopped raining.... so I'm going to bed... it's gone 2am!

Next time, it would be a good idea to wrap a blanket or Duvet round yourself. As It’s not good to be in a draught. Or you could buy a Rain drop sounding CD To listen to. The Thunderstorm is a good one.

I have a nature CD/tape for relaxation. It can always be used for bedtime hours, too.😀👍🌈

I have some soothing Native American Indian C.D's that feature mainly flute sounds with other nature sounds . I can listen to this music at anytime, but it is great for relaxation or, any sleepless nights. : ) I also really enjoy soothing instrumental Jazz. Enjoy your day, week, month, and year. GOD's continued blessing to you, and your family. You are one of the positive, inspiring, authentic angels on this site, and on this earth .

I have a few of those CD’s, Rain/Thunderstorms, Rain Forrest, Waves on the seashore, Whales and Dolphins all lovely to relax to or drift off to 🛏 to 😴

I found one called The Stream the other day still in it’s wrapping. And I feel sure I’ve got the sea waves one somewhere

.nothing like the sound of the rain..

The sun Is not my friend

..but have managed well this year with the sunny days we have had..maybe cause I haven't been out much

I understand, Andrew, I too love sunny days, they make me feel uplifted, but I would burn to a crisp if i was out there long!

Grey days make me moody and cold, my fingers go greyish think it may be Raynauds Syndrome, also one foot is also patriotic, red, white and blue!

I love the cheeriness of the sun AndrewT but not its heat, so I am with you all the way on enjoying the weather in all its moods. And I'm glad that the cooler weather is safer for you too! 😊👍

Hi Andrew. I too love the rain at night especially with thunder etc. To me it’s very relaxing. Get yourself a heated throw. Then you can enjoy it without freezing 😊😊😌

I have a lovely Halogen Heater, which produces a beautiful Yellow Light... it even has a Remote Control. So I put that ON.... Perfect😊.

I hope you managed to get some sleep. I can fully understand why you like the rain, I am a sun worshipper but I'm fortunate in that I don't have any medical problems which would interfere with the sun.
