Beautiful foxgloves

I had a lovely walk this morning in the woods with Teddi before it got too hot.

There has been a dog missing since Friday so I went there for an hour with a spare lead hoping I might spot him. Sadly we didnt spot the dog but we found these foxgloves with the sun shining on them.

Hopefully they will find it. It showed up where I was looking about half an hour later.

So lovely Age. I had several different plants, different colours in pots three/four years ago, not many left now as I've not been able to bother. Lovely setting too, thanks for sharing. I sincerely hope they find that poor dog alive and well. 🙏

Thank you. I hope they do. It’s a rescue they had only just picked it up and it bolted. People keep seeing it but can’t catch it. It’s not used to people. Think there is a plan for a professional dog tracker to try and catch it.

Let's hope they are successful, the poor thing must wonder what on earth is going on. 🙏 x

What some glorious foxgloves Agoodenough! Hope Teddi enjoyed his walk too. It was really nice of you to take a spare lead in case you encountered the missing dog. I hope he turns up soon. His owner must be worrying dreadfully.

Teddi loved it up there and it was a bit cooler in the shade. Yes poor dog. People keep seeing it but it’s a lurcher and no one can catch it so professionals might be brought in 🤞

I know. Hopefully it will get caught soon. Luckily it’s in the same place but the woods is big.

Hi Ali

A lovely photo of the fox gloves, shows their beautiful colour. I'm sorry you didn't find the dog and I hope it turns up soon for the owners.

Stay safe and well

It must be, I know how I'd be if our cat went missing.
