So heart warming. I believe nature brings the best out in us. Thanks Dallo.

It sure does. I can't wait to get fishing again, bought my permit yesterday. Anglers get bad publicity sometimes but only for anglers a lot of our wildlife would suffer. Many animals, waterfowl and birds etc rely on anglers in severe weather conditions during the winter months

It's important to have an understanding of these issues Dallo. A little passed on information like this is so valuable.

😊

Thanks for sharing this beautiful pic.

And what a beautiful little family she has Dallo100!

Thank You for such a beautiful photo, thank you for your kindness, it made me feel home sick, I am a Brit, have lived in the US for over 50 years, we do not have many swans and I have never seen one with cygnets. I have seen black swans.

When we lived in Lincoln I loved to see the swans and their young on the local rivers and in Brayford Pool. Bringing back good memory's, thank you again and have a lovely summer......love n hugs......

Thanks to you for your interesting reply. I often visit Martin Mere, there are 3 species of swans there: Mute, Berwick's, Whooper and Black swans. They also have flamingos, otters and beavers

Thank you for such a lovely picture. I would love to hold one of those baby swans, but I know the mom would probably try to peck me to death.
