Well it’s been a few weeks and the family has lost another cygnet. Started with 7 but now down to 4 healthy looking babies. There are lots of foxes in the area but I’m not sure if they would take a cygnet?
Anyway the remaining family are doing well, and entertaining all of us locals.

I used to love watching swans. I forget the name, but there is a Cathedral, where the swans ring a bell, when they want to be fed. I have had no chocolate for 2 days, so memory worse than usual!!
It is a fishing lake, I’ll ask If there’s any pike next time I’m up there
Wow, they've really come on haven't they Rowing58. Sad that several have vanished but I guess that's nature's way. These guys are well on their way to adulthood now! Thanks for sharing their progress. 🙏🔆😊
