I hope you’ve all had a good start to the day so far?
I’ve been pottering about this morning getting washing on the line etc and I’ve really enjoyed my morning. I Popped out to get some petrol before the price shoots up again and decided to go in to a garden centre nearby. It was quiet which surprised me so I bought some bedding plants and a little acer to go with my Buddha which was a birthday present in December from my parents. There was a big queue when I came out so I timed it well.
Here are a few photos from around the garden. We are waiting for most things to come out. We have a lavender border and some roses which are thinking about coming.
Willow came along whilst I was taking some photos but wasn’t impressed and has gone again 😊 (She probably thinks i should have asked her permission before taking the photo!).
Have a great day. I hope the sun is shining where you are. Keep safe!
Ali 💚

That's beautiful. I braved the garden centre the other day and it was just a joy to do something normal again and great myself to some plants and seeds.
Yes I think there is although I didn’t realise that until a few years ago. They are very calming unless they bring “visitors“ in the house. I wouldn’t say my composure is calm then. More banshee woman springs to mind 😁
Oh I do love the look of your garden Ali and how lovely to go to the garden centre and timing it so well, I do love garden centres and am thinking of getting more heathers for our garden as they do tend to keep the weeds away.
I love the Buddha and Willow walking casually along bless her.
No you’re right peonies don’t last very long at all. Although this year has been good as there hasn’t been heavy rain to damage them and weigh them down.
Acers are beautiful and I’ve bought a small one as I want it to be quite small with a good canopy to go over the head of my buddha so hopefully the Acer will comply with my plans.
I bet your azaleas and rhododendrons looked fabulous I really love them. I have two in pots near my front door.
Your garden sounds lovely and yes there is always something to do which is good.
Very beautiful - I can’t wait to go to a garden centre again! But one local nursery has been lovely and delivered compost and some plants but nothing like wandering round and choosing your own❤️🌈
