After posting a pic of Jerry's buns, I noticed that it was like actually sharing a plate with people. And I realised that although dieting is a battle there should be joy in our food, and the joy is a filling component.
I've made a batch of those buns and only eaten one, filled with the joy of creating and sharing, if only visually.
So in lockdown, I am not going to deprive myself. I'm going to enjoy some culinary delights, and feed my soul. Lunch is served!!

I was quite cross today when someone I know posted a pic on social media of 2 x 3lb bags of flour saying that at last she'd got flour but now couldn't be bothered to bake anything. Well in my opinion, leave that flour on the shelves then, so someone who does want to do it, can......
Do you find yourself focusing more on the joy of eating as we remain indoors? I have been finding pleasure in the simplest of meals. I mean who knew beans on toast could taste so good😊😊
It's surprising what combo of leftovers work, too. Sometimes they are so scrummy, but I'll never be able to replicate them. Talk about live for the moment!
