Always try to fit a day trip to Oban in when visiting my partner's family in Killin, along with a stop at Ganavan sands, so Trudie the dog can have a tear around and some quality sniffing!
Hi, photos are beautiful, brought back memories , we went with our daughter when she was 18 months with friends to a cottage there, that’s 44 years ago, crikey time flies. It makes me smile because it rained everyday and my Colin and his mate went fishing everyday even though they had never done this before. We waited with frying pan ready EVERYDAY but nothing🤣😂🤣 thanks for bringing back these memories x
Never been but their scotch is the smoothest iv tasted 🙂
I was a traveller for a lot of my adult life (until the assault that caused my brain injury) & lived at Raspberry Layby near Duror at one time in 90s. My middle daughter was born in Oban. We loved the wilder parts of that edge of Scotland too; up toward Mallaig & beyond. Some friends had permission to repopulate an abandoned village on a peninsula with no roads on it ! Wish I'd stayed up there instead of coming back to Yorkshire !
Beautiful place Buddy34. We had a holiday up that way years ago. And we went to Oban such a lovely place. We need to get back up and do Edinburgh. Thats a place i would love to go. Never been its having the weather in this country. Now i am retired can go anytime. Keep well Brian
Beautiful pics that middle one would make a great postcard and lovely to get married in a place you really love. It will still be there when this is all over.
