I managed another walk this morning, with my husband as my 'minder', who shoos away errant joggers who stray too close. I had my phone with me, so captured one or two sights that can be found in our side streets, just so you country dwellers can see that we too have our little corners of loveliness!

You are right, the beauty of nature never fails to lift our spirits. 😁
Lovely! Been a (long) while since I ventured into my city centre... The old (walled) part of the city that bears witness to times past is absolutely beautiful and blends seamlessly with - shall we say - more contemporary structures. Little flashes of nature complete the tableaux. Not quite the countryside, but it will do!
Thank you for letting us see your lovely photos.
That looks so beautiful. Lovely photos.
Wow!!! Stunning pictures. I really like the fact that you included a photo of a tree’s bark. It is is so easy to notice and enjoy colourful flowers but we tend to not focus on the intricacies of trees and other flora.
😎
Wow, beautiful flowers along the way, thanks for sharing 😃
Here in cardiff we are fortunate that we have some lovely green parks in the city that we can go to and I always look forward to my daily walk at present usually at lunchtime to it breaks the day up nicely.
I lived in Cardiff whilst at university there for a year and loved the cherry blossom around the university and near the museum. Such a wonderful city and so green.
