Going on without denying any aspect of the human drama is what strength is all about. We are carved by life into instruments that will release our song, if we can hold each up to the carving.

I experienced more death than i wish to own up to during my Nursing Career. Babies, Mothers Fathers, Cot Death etc. Its all very new at this level. Except it isn't my Grandmother on my Mothers side and Grsndfathers parents died from 2 previous pandemics. 1957 and 1918. They knew it would come but now when. Complacency a modern disease.

For me this harks back to namaha's video link of yesterday to the wise words of Gopal Das on being 'you'. The instrument that life has carved you out to be, and if you are a violin, be a violin and don't envy the flute or try to emulate it. Then our own song will be true and we will be found to be genuine in every way.
Yes! And when a cello is being a cello the sound the world hears is beautiful! And the heart revels in its own vibrations. And when your instrument is silent, the world misses it and strains in anticipation for when it will play again.
