Can you please post the recipe for the fairy cakes? 
You need
4oz (110g) butter
4oz (110g) caster sugar
4oz (110g) self raising flour
2 eggs lightly beaten
1-2 tablespoon of milk
Butter cream
5oz (140g) butter
10oz (280g) icing sugar
1-2 tablespoon milk

Thank you, just hate not having my children around and just that feeling of not belonging it doesn’t go away even though I’m trying to keep my mind occupied x
I understand about not having children/family around for special occasions. Do you have a way to do video chats with your children?
I only have phone calls from them.. it’s so hard being separated from them..

I’ve just had a call from my son, made me well up miss him so much and just sang happy birthday to my daughter so now I’m blubbing like a baby 😢😢

He was seeing if I was ok how much he’s missing me and how we can’t wait to get together..
That's good news. Do you talk to your son once a day?
Normally he works but cos he’s on lockdown like everyone is he’s home so he will call when he’s not busy
That's a good thing. What does he usually do for his career?
He’s a mechanic but they’ve closed the garage until further notice
Is he getting unemployment for right now? Out here, everyone is expected to file for unemployment even if they are keeping their jobs.
At the moment they are still paying his wage but not sure for how much longer..
That's the same as out here in the USA. We have to see when we all can go back to work. Where I work, we've been closed until further notice since it's in a Senior Center.
It’s just an awful situation for everyone.. there will be a rise in unemployment everywhere..
That's right. It's like a wait and see type of 'game' that no one wants to do.
