Hi everyone! Nice and rainy Monday morning where I am. Hope you had a lovely weekend and a beautiful Easter!
What music has everyone been listening to during social isolation? In my apartment we've been trading off control of the music and playing something new non-stop. I checked out Andrea Bocelli's isolated Easter concert in the empty Duomo di Milano in Italy yesterday.
Share what music you've been listening to or any of your favorites, and let me know how your weekend was!

Easter Day we joined in the podcast from Worcester Diocese. There was a recording of the cathedral bells. A video conference choir from the Black Country. Later in the podcast the Cathedral choir ,again video conferenced sang an Easter Anthem. All through Easter weekend Classic FM have been played the top 300 tracks voted by the listeners. Some great pieces I knew and some not familiar.
Hi Calvin, I listen to all kinds of music.I listen to a bit of Paul Weller, I like the mix of the Elvis song they do the shuffle dancing to. I like Andrea Bocelli and Pavarotti, I often sing Nessun Dorma around the house but warning, I cannot sing one note in tune. In fact if I sang down a megaphone that would be a sure way of keeping everyone indoors. Have a great day.
I just saw that on the news it filled the building and then a bit of him outside on steps. Was amazing.
I listen to mellow magic on radio, got it tuned in in bedroom, kitchen and car and got few people hooked on it. Plays all my kind of music and fewer ads. Radio in room not digital though as built into my record and CD player.......yes still got all my vinyl.
Hi CalvinHU
Andrea Bocelli's isolated Easter concert was such an excellent idea. I only saw a snippet on the news unfortunately, but so many artistes have really come up trumps to help get us through, haven't they? It's been a feast of treats if we shop around online a little.
I revisited Songs of the Auvergne yesterday after one member posted a poem about a shepherdess. I love the Netania Davrath recording above all others. That bit of nostalgia led me on to some more, with Ashokan Farewell, which was used as the theme tune to 'The Civil War' documentary series on TV, although Jay Ungar, who wrote it, said he composed it at the end of one of his folk music camps, after everyone left and he was feeling poignant. It is a sad piece, so randomly, after that I listened to, (and watched the video), of the Siamese Cat Song from the cartoon version of 'Lady and the Tramp'. Now that would cheer anyone up!
I'm glad that you've found an equitable way to share music in your flat!
My weekend was really nice and peaceful and productive. I hope yours was pleasant too.
