I am actually enjoying the solitude which is a better word than isolation. This has slowed down the world and although it’s tragic Mother Nature is still creating so much beauty around us with less smog and pollution. There are many benefits to staying in, I am painting more and catching up on the many books I've bought in the past and not yet read.
Keep smiling everyone we will get through this.

I think if you are very cautious and dont take any unnecesary risks you will survive. Luck or wishful thinking wont do it. I am here with my partner but things are slow and its lovely in a way .
It has certainly given time to slow down but two people in close proximity all the time can be quite a challenge. I’m growing quite tired of repeats on TV. Oh! For the great outdoors and a chance to meet up with friends and family.
Well ‘Patience is a virtue’ I was always told.
Thats what my sky box, dvds, music, books etc are for. BUT I work from home exchanging mails , phone calls etc with staff and with clients all day weekdays so in a way none of this changes for me.
My husband and I are both in our late seventies, so work is long past. Fifty six years of marriage doesn’t even prepare you for this situation. Being busy is probably the best remedy.
Keep safe and smiling!
We’re on 55years of marriage. We potter about in the morning then have our constitutional for an hour in the afternoon. Miss the family but life’s good!
