I am a female of 62, living in the UK, living alone but have a lovely partner I see a lot, not sure what is going on with this problem with the virus ! It is lonely being isolated at home - its so much easier for a houseful of people who can do things together and chat to each other. Would be good to hear from some of you.

Hi everyone

Hi wiserlady your not alone now as you’re part of the great community. Staying positive is key so try and occupy your mind as much as you can.
I’m carer for Pete who’s in the at risk group so we can’t go out or see family. We enjoy watching tv, not the News too much, I enjoy reading and crosswords.
It’s a crazy time but it will pass and we will all help each other.
Stay safe. Xxxxx
hi Sassy. I wish I had someone here all of the time it gets very lonely and on top of that am struggling with illness so quite depression.
As Jerry says try and take one day at a time. Do what you can to get through. We’re here for you so please don’t despair. There are people who are on their own and hopefully there will be more replies soon.
Hope you feel better soon. Thinking of you. Xxxx
Thank you sassy. Being on my own I find very easy to cope with, am used to it. But being on my own when ill and worrying about food shopping and all the rest isnt so easy.
Hi Jerry, sorry to hear it is the same with you. Ive chatted to people today who say its the same for them and then you find out they live with family and are not alone at all. I would much prefer that. Also not to be feeling so ill while alone like this. Am trying to keep busy but hard when feeling so glum. Might have a go on the playstation later.
Don’t worry. I sincerely hope you can feel a bit better chatting with us all here. I try to think of the positives.
