Dear superhealer,
The, used to be a sign, on the Greensward/ Fence alongside the Upper Promenade- between Holland-on-Sea and Clacton-on-Sea (I have no idea if it's still there) that read "Cycle Lane, look BOTH ways" (Funny I never Did see any Geckos there)! I think the idea was to alert Pedestrians, to the possibility of Bicycles, from either direction......I Think???
Has anyone else seen 'Strange' signs, like this?

Update 30th December...It's Still There!
When I was younger, there used to be a car park in my home townn where you could park for free, in the corner of the car park there was a toilet block...... on the opposite side of the road from the entrance to the car park was a sign erected by the local council...... displayed on the sign, it said.....FREE P.
There was a similar sign, in Finchley- North London- which read 'P Free', right outside the Toilet.
The Funniest 'One' I ever saw, and I wished that I'd had a Camera.... Outside a field, near some friends- a few years back now.... was a sign that read 'No Dogs Allowed', what made this funny was the two CATS sitting by it😀.
I love these Gems, of 'unintended' wit......
