Hello Carla. I had the same issues you have. It started with a panic attack which scared me so much. I was terrified I'd have another, so I worked my way into anxiety and eventually ,hello, here comes agoraphobia . So with these three illnesses and three little kids, and a husband who thought it was nonsense, I was pretty much a crazy woman. This went on for around two yrs. I went to the gp almost on a weekly basis, Eventually he suggested I see a psychologist which I did. She put me on anti depressants and I saw her twice a week. It took awhile but I got past it, Sometimes, when I get stressed out it will show up, but now I can handle it , I know what it is and I know it can't hurt me. Take small steps with the agro. I started by walking to the mail box every day and just increased time and distance. Easier said than done. I was shaking every step of the way. You can do this. Pam
Hi sorry to hear this. You might find you get more advice on the mental health sites. There is one called 'Action on Depression' and another called Anxiety and Depression. To find them go into my communities at the top, then browse other communities.
I think the agoraphobia stems from the depression x
