Always a bonus!
Maintaining a stable weight is sometimes due simply to allowing your stomach to rest for a substantial period of time in line with the principle of intermittent fasting.
So, for instance, you could eat pretty much whatever you want from - say - 12 p.m. onwards, but then stop eating at 7 p.m. and refrain from eating until noon again the following day.
So, essentially, you create a time window during which you can be fairly self-indulgent; the fact that you're staying away from everything but water the rest of the time makes it relatively easy to shed weight and keep the weight off.
I speak from experience!
(n.b. it's not a good idea to do this if you're diabetic, as you'll need to keep your blood sugars stable!)
It's all about what you do over a period of time I think Jo1964. You've found the art of balancing out an occasional 'binge' by getting back on the wagon. Well done for maintaining your weight!
Thankyou
Good new ! No binge here but I know I have put on some lbs since the stay at home started. I refuse to get on the scale til I think I am back close to normal.
That was my thought first of all but I wanted to see what damage I had done 😂😅
