What happened to www.pni.org.uk?

SearchingThePast profile image

Hello,Is anyone familiar with the above website?

My mother was active on it before she died and several of the ladies on there wrote letters to me to tell me how much my mother loved me. I only recently got the letters and wanted to try to get in contact with the women who wrote them to say thank you and how much it means to me.

Welcome ! I am so very happy to hear from you. It’s really brought tears to my eyes to hear from you and you won’t believe this, I actually thought about your mum, the letters we wrote to you after your Mums death and from memory we gave you a keepsake (bracelet?)

Your mum was a formidable woman who battled this cruel illness (post natal illness). She loved you so much.

It would be wonderful to hear from you so please feel free to reply to this post or send a message - I will get back to you.

I hope you are doing well in life.

Monica

Thank you so much for your reply!Yes, along with the letters I received a beautiful charm bracelet with a cat, an angel and a heart charm.

I'm honestly so shocked that there are people on this website that still remember her. The letters are so so lovely and I teared up whilst reading them. Until reading the letters I had no idea that she was active on here and that she had such a positive influence on so many other ladies going through the same thing.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon,

Chloe

Your mum was a truly wonderful lady with always a comforting word for others even when she felt unwell herself.
