Hi I don't honestly know as I've been taking diazepam it's masked it which is good but I've got bad depression

The nurologist told me to take amitriptylin instead so I'm going to start these tonight, I hate the person I've become, housebound, miserable, lazy,

Don't give up and don't be hard on yourself. How can you be outgoing full of fun when you feel so rubbish. In time you will pick up - do be kind to yourself x

Thanks for your kind words, as long as the vertigo goes I can handle depression I know I can beat that and I bloody well will

I've been through worse, the worst part is waking in the morning and seeing if it's there 😪

I'm not sure if anxiousness causes dizziness though too

I remember feeling exactly the way you do now that I'd feel OK in my self as if only o could rid myself of the symptoms. Also I'd wake up wondering every morning if the symptoms were there.

Keeping everything crossed that the meds make a differencex

How long did it take for you to mend

I think 2-3 weeks after taking meds I started to pick up feeling better in myself emotionally and physically. Some of the symptoms like foggiheadedness , tingling, numb patches, fatigue went fairly quickly . The pressure behind my eye lasted longer.

The anxiety did turn into depression . This could be triggered by pmt, specific things and some of the symptoms would resurface. I think my confidence was low too.

Overall I had PNI for 2 1/2 yrs but don't panic! It wasn't all bad. In fact once meds started to work it was good. The relief at feeling better and improving was huge. Blips are normal part of PNI too - overtime I learned this and was able to cope better with the low parts. So when I say I had it for two years in total with downs amongst the good times and after 2 yrs I was back to normal x

I just read this - im not saying your symptoms are due to this but might be worth getting b12 levels checked outx

Yes this sounds very much like what I have

I'll mention it next time although I think I've had a full blood count done in hospital

I guess they're symptoms which could be down to many things incl hormonal changes. Just a thought. How r u? X

Had a good nights sleep with the new tablets

Not going back to bed this morning which is good! Still a bit dizzy but hopefully this will clear in a few days

Thanks so very much

I'm at the cranial osteopath again now

Felt slight dizziness again today but I think that's a side effect of the medication (hopefully anyway) and it's not the vertigo trying to slip through again

I know I can beat depression and anxiety but that vertigo has knocked me down under a Rock big time

Thanks for support
